Basis chairs feature a mechanism which allows the user to
adjust the seat
and backrest independently. The backrest angle can be allowed to "float",
providing permanent contact with the back, or locked in any position. Basis
task chairs are also available with a Sliding Seat (for adjustable seat
depths) and with the Healthy Seat, whose raised rear section encourages
the spine to maintain the position the body achieves in its natural, standing
state, and is thus ideally suited to people with chronic lower back pain.
Managerial chairs are equipped with a simple to use knee-tilt control. |
